The work consist of interpreting the melodies of a new ethic group from the Ecuadorian Amazonia. The Project is based on the indigenous world view of the secoya culture “Nañe is the god who brought us from inside the earth”  The indigenous belief is adapted to the contemporary reality of the growth in oil extraction in eastern Ecuador. Based  on this scenario , the work searches for an association between the extraction of hydrocarbons and the extraction of an ethic group from the depths of the earth, in order to reflect  on the environmental and cultural problems of the region. In this manner, the melodies that will be interpreted will be the chemical compositions of  petroleum; to reinforce the theme a language and hieroglyphics will be extracted. These  elements constituting  the existence of a new ethnic group will be developed by transforming the numerals of the chemical components into hertzs.  By means of an alphabetical process based on numerals a language will be discovered and in parallel the molecular drawings will be converted into hieroglyphics.  The work consists of a live performance, an installation with the drawings transformed into scores with letters, as well as an audio recording of the action.
