This video performance is a continuation of a piece I did in 2010. I updated the graphics and the time of the global temperature through the years.
The performance consists of singing and interpreting the graphics of global temperature statistics based on the parameters of contemporary musical semiography. This melodic interpretation draws with lyrical voice the straight, curved, and segmented lines that trace descending and ascending microtonalities. The performance accentuates high notes and melodically translates the climate change which is also transcribed into a musical score to be interpreted by a soprano.
