After several days of research, I found several abandoned villages on the island of Chios, for this reason the play is based on migration issues.
The play consists of interpreting poems about pain and death written by sick people on the wall of an abandoned leprosy sanatorium founded in 1378, renovated in 1909 and now in ruins.
The lyrics of the songs, corresponding to the Greek poems of the sanatorium, were composed with references to the local musical rhythms and interpreted within a blue setting inspired by the blue of the Chios houses and the shapes are the representation of the Greek Chios archaic tombs.
I draw an analogy in this composition of elements, comparing the abandoned houses and the villages with the pain and death of a society.
