It is an intrinsic connection with the Sun, I communicate with the language of the sun, it communicates with humans through radiation, the white light that is composed by the union of several colors and those not visible to human eyes, the ultraviolet and infrared.

In the work he transforms the radiations into musical notes, and sings the visible and non-visible notes; he sings in a non-visual musical background. The ancestors of Imbabura, my hometown, were astrologers, so my interest is to rescue that meaning. The Inti Raymi, the feast of the Sun, is a legacy of our ancestors, a celebration that coincides with the summer solstice. There are several rituals in honor of the sacred Sun, being this an example of the interest of the native peoples for the Sun.

In the work I create a ritual more than a song, where I converse with the Sun, this is not done on specific dates, it is rather an inner communication, intimate, in which only the Sun and I know what we are transmitting. It is an encounter with this star through visual and non-visual frequencies. This symbolic communication is open to a range of interpretations, but in the work, it is a personal experience, not a systematized construction. What interests me is to rescue the language of the sun, how it communicates with human beings and invites us to reflect on a certain content, the language of the stars.

Process: The Sun emits energy in the form of short-wave radiation, mainly in the ultraviolet, visible and near infrared band, with wavelengths between 0.2 and 3.0 micrometers (200 nm to 3,000 nm). There are two, the visible region (between 400 nm < < < 700 nm) corresponds to the radiation that can perceive the sensitivity of the human eye and includes the colors and the non-visible which is less than 400nm the ultraviolet and greater than 700 nm the infrared.

In the work I take frequencies, numbers that are from 400 to 700 to sing visibly and those below 400 is a chorus that is not seen.
I transform the radiation of the Sun to musical frequencies, which are numbers in notes on the piano, which are within my vocal range.
